We are passionate about making an impact in people’s lives and equipping them with the right skills in order to succeed in their studies, work and daily lives. In order to extend our reach to the wider community, we need help.
We are looking to collaborate and work with local authorities, local charities, and other organisations from public, private, and third party sectors. We believe that we are stronger together in delivering our programmes and courses to the community.
If you would like to partner with us to deliver our programmes for your organisation or to collaborate on a bespoke programme, please get in touch with us via email info@fsecentre.org

Changing Lives - Lives Matters
Functional Skills Education Centre Non for Profit Hub is about building opportunities for individuals from deprived backgrounds, refugees and migrants to give them a chance of a better start in life. Education is a route out of poverty for many individuals, which is why we focus on helping those from less fortunate background, immigrants and migrants to have a chance to build and rebuild themselves.
These individuals will gain recognised qualifications, that will help them obtain jobs and help make a better future for themselves.
FSEC Non-For-Profit Hub has a passion to help those less fortunate to be fortunate, giving them opportunities to build themselves, confidence, self-esteem and making a better life for themselves within their communities.
We need ongoing funding to continue to make differences in individuals’ lives and building opportunities as lives matters
Attending FSEC Non-For-Profit Hub our students will be taking the first step to changing their lives, we want to make sure our students from deprived backgrounds are catered for.
RESILIENCE - Building Better Opportunities For Young And Mature Adults
Our project Resilience aims to build stronger connections across communities and strengthen these connections by developing the conditions needed to build a better version of yourself and longer-lasting ways of bringing people together. The funding will cover the development of the project plan including development of monitoring tools, branding and professional advice on state aid.
Project Resilience targets people who are unemployed, disadvantaged and most at risk of social exclusions, including ex-offenders, adults with learning difficulties, mental and physical illness, and those who are homeless or vulnerably housed. The funding will be used over a period of 5 years to help build social skills, to help improve aspirations to look for employment whilst giving key skills education to help build their confidence and be more equipped for employment.
The funding will be used to help develop our organisation including course content that provides targeted support to address the complex barriers these group face in seeking and obtaining employment. We want to provide a flexible package of integrated support to all those in need. We will offer support to those from different countries to help get the English language support they need and build back their confidence as they have suffered mentally, and many lifestyles destroyed. We want to help them to restore their lives here in the UK by giving them the tools they need to start a new life and get into employment.
Our aim is to provide individuals who feel less confident in attaining jobs and help them get qualified and attain employment. We want to give them long-term relationships so if they need further support and guidance we can help build on their skills and get them back into employment.
Giving these individuals training and education skills will help build their confidence, increase self-esteem and getting them back into work or full-time education will reduce isolation. We offer hybrid learning options to teach new skills for individuals. The overall project will provide educational stability, including one-to-one support employability workshops, career guidance, and English language courses to immigrants to the UK.
Our service will help achieve outcomes such as improve wellbeing, independence, improving skillsets and getting back into employment. Once our course has been completed and individuals have qualified, work placements will be provided, and we will support them long-term.
Please help make this project possible to help make positive impacts to individuals' lives and help with the economy growth.
