Description

Functional Skills Education Centre is looking for dedicated and passionate individuals to join our

team as English/ESOL Teacher Volunteers. This is a remote, unpaid, voluntary position that offers the

opportunity to make a significant impact on the lives of learners who are eager to improve their

English language skills. As an English/ESOL Teacher Volunteer, you will be responsible for planning

and delivering engaging and effective English lessons to learners of various backgrounds and

proficiency levels.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver English/ESOL lessons that cater to the needs and abilities of learners.
• Create and adapt teaching materials to support learners' language development.
• Assess learners' progress and provide constructive feedback to help them achieve their goals.
• Encourage and motivate learners to actively participate in lessons and practice their English skills.
• Maintain a positive and inclusive learning environment that respects the diverse backgrounds of all learners.
